I spy a 2CV and a Twingo!

That 2CV still has DIN plates from the pre EU era which means the car hasn’t changed hands in at least 16 years. Only the paint is a bit rough.

Nice find! Not many of those exist in that any part of the world!
Mine’s working real hard at not existing either. 531,000km and still soldiering on, but I just got a quote for $7000 to fix the rust issues...

Nice, the Comanche those plates too right?

It’s very rare indeed.
Are you going to get it fixed though? One less Comanche will probably impact prices for Comanches;)

Yep. And I’m kinda weirdly glad it still exists.

Did you visit Thomas when you shot that picture? You’re basically standing on the street he lives at. I thought I recognized the place. The 2CV is visible on google maps by the way, so I bet it’s street parked there all the time.

Not quite the street but the intersection where the cars park on the side at the Sprachlichen Institut. I had classes in a school which is just about three minutes from him. Funny thing is that his workplace is only a couple of minutes from me.
That 2CV has DIN plates btw and owned by the owner of a small bookshop there.

It’s a damn unicorn and even more so in Europe.

Eventually hopefully. I have absolutely no intentions of getting rid of it.
